leider kommt in dem Werk "Die Pastoren der Landeskirchen Hannovers und
Schaumburg-Lippes seit der Reformation" der von Ihnen gesuchte Name
WLOEME/WLOME nicht vor, auch nicht in ähnlichen Schreibweisen (FLOME,
VLOME usw.).
Wo soll denn der gesuchte Pastor evtl. tätig gewesen sein? Ich weise
darauf hin, daß es im heutigen Niedersachsen noch weitere
protestantische Landeskirchen gibt (Braunschweig, Oldenburg,
Schaumburg-Lippe), die in dem genannten Buch nicht enthalten sind. Oder
war er etwa katholisch?

Lange nicht mehr gehoert.Meinen besten Dank für die Antwort.
Wlome oder Wloeme unsw. kommt urspr. aus Umgebung Uslar ab 1300.Spaeter
auch Alswede und Bremen um 1600 . Aber es gab auch einen Pfarrer aus Berlin
der in Westf. gewohnt hat (z.B Calcar).
Katholisch waren die jedenfalls nicht ,so weit ich weiss.

es gibt auch ein westfaelisches Pfarrerbuch. Das habe ich aber leider
nicht.

I am sorry I don't understand enough German to know exactly what the e-mails
for WLOEME/WLOME are about, but there are three listings for Wlömen in the
Ortssippenbuch Uslar: die Bevölkerung der Stadt Uslar and der Dörfer
Allershausen, Bollensen, Dinkelhausen,
Eschershausen, Vahle and Wiensen von 1599 bus 1850. They are:
Christoph Wlömen, Burgermeister died about 1653 in Uslar. Married
Margaretha Rangen about 1592. Six children are listed.
Stephan Wlömen, Licentiat in Uslar whose first child was born in 1665
Johann Heinrich Wlömen who was a Godfather in 1661.
If you want the complete listings from these entries, please let me know.

Uslar area.

My Hannover ancestors are from the Uslar and most from Eschershausen and
some other villages. I have been able to gather a lot of material. I have
photocopied over 300 pages from the Uslar book and am working my way through
it. My two great grandparents were Berta Ilse b. in 1866 and Ludwig
Niedermeyer b. in 1866 both in Eschershausen. They came to the U.S. in
1887. Thanks for your offer of help, but right now I am no sure of my

I have a possible WEDEMEYER relative who was a Pastor in Lauenberg in 1689.
Could some kind person please tell me if there is a Pfarrerbuch
which applies to the Lauenberg area, in the district of Northeim and
the Church district of Einbeck . I understand that a Pfarrerbuch is
a list of Ministers which gives details of their appointments to
various parishes, and sometimes includes details of their families?
It would be great if someone who has access to such a book could help
with a look-up?
Lauenberg is only about 11 km from Moringen on the road to Dassel,
and is also on the edge of the Solling forest. My WEDEMEYERs were
in nearby Moringen and Fredelsloh a little later, and at least one
line has Lauenberg links. Not be confused with Lauenburg, which is
near Elbe and Hamburg.

Many thanks to Matthias and Gernot for their detailed look-ups of the
relevant Pfarrerbuch for my Pastor Hermann WEDEMEYER in 1668 - 1683
at Lauenberg (between Dassell and Moringen). They have been very
kind.
I was not aware of the amount of information which was available in
German Pastor records. All this is quite different to the brief
information about Anglican Miinisters in Australia held in Diocesan
Year Books etc. ( I was an Australian Minister's son.)
