Pelny / Ivonov

I know nothing about my father's side of the family other than his
mother's maiden name was Eugenia von Liedert - she was a concert
violinist during WWI and WWII. I only know that my father's father was
either an Ivonov or Ivonovich. He was later adopted by my grandmother's
2nd or 3rd husband whose last name was "Pelny." My grandmother's
parents were supposedly Count and Countess von Liedert on whom I can
find nothing. If anyone has any information, it would be greatly
appreciated.

My mother's side of the family were Franz and Lydia Buettner Konigsmann.

There are several people by the name of Liedert in the German White Pages, however, none of them is a member of the gentry, let alone the nobility, in other words the "von" is missing.

Thank you! Eugenia von Liedert spent much of her time in Saint
Petersburg, Russia, so it may be her family originated there. I
