Passagierliste 1866 Bremen->New York

Dear Gary,

You know my ancestors from St. Joseph's Parrish in St. Louis I believe are from the general area referred to as Emsland.

The surname Timmer comes up distant past in my tree, believed from Helte/Bokeloh near Meppen and the surname Schnitz from that passenger list per Han's note seem to hail from Paderborn area. I these area's are concidered Emsland or pretty nearby.

These surnames seem to be listed in the St. Josephs parrish records, now called Shrine of St. Joseph.

I don't have the H index from St. Josephs Parrish but possibly your Anna if catholic may have belonged to this parrish. I believe it was a German Speaking Parrish and lots of Emslanders, Kingdom of Hannover seem to have attended this Church.

Schmidt and Maria Spellmeyer in 1848.

How much info is given on parish members?
