Is the Parish of Brake where to look for someone from Neuenkoop,
   Oldenberg?

Searching for family of Christreich Frederick Kuester born 1809.

Would this area be considered Prussia? Or even Pommern, Prussia in
   the early 1800's? Thanks
   Jenel

Hello Jenel,

no, Neuenkoop is a small village near Berne in the former state of Oldenburg, the parish might be Berne or Neuenhuntorf. copies of the church books are to find in der state archive of the former state of Oldenburg in the city of Oldenburg.

Jochen (in the city of Oldenburg)
