I am looking for information on Samuel Dotzlaff who married Mathilda
Schuster in Poland (I believe). Their children were Wilhelm, Julius and
there were two daughters (Louise?). I am not sure if there were other
children or not. Their son, Wilhelm, was my grandfather and married Alwine
Sagdanska. Alwine's father was Christian Sagdanska and her mother was Anna
Wiese.
Wilhelm and Alwine had three children, Ewald, Martha and Alwine. My
grandparents immigrated to Canada in January 1949. Samuel and Mathilda also
immigrated to Canada but I am not sure if it was at the same time. I cannot
find any information on my grandparents prior to arriving to Canada. My
mother, Alwine was born in Warsaw, Poland.
Where can I search to find birth certificates, marriage certificates so I
can search further back in their ancestry? Does anyone have any information
on them?
