I would indeed be grateful if you could look up Otto in Barnstorf
records. I doubt I'll be able to get to Hanover myself this year.
But I wonder if he didn't come from elsewhere in Hanover. As he did
marry in Mariensee .
But I would appreciate his son, my 3x gt grandfather. looking up. He was
born 14 Aug 1778 and christened 7 Sept in Barnstorf.
He left in 1800 aboard ship as a ship's carpenter , (perhaps with the
East India Company?), and settled in London.
If he had brothers and sisters? He could have had several in the ten
years since his parents married.
