Interestingly I have Tobben and Feldhaus ancestors from St. Louis. Also interesting is thatI went to 2nd grade with an Otten and her family lived a block from my GF "Bud" Feldhaus in Velda Village.
A few years ago visiting a cousin I became aquainted with my classmates baby brother.. I discoverd that her younger brother and my cousin had been friends for years. He was a baby when the family moved to Florissant from Velda Village and we got to talking and St. Libory, Illinois was mentioned.
I don't know if this Margaret Toeben-Otten is related to my Tobben (various spellings) line. I had come across it at the library and photocopied just in case.
I also can not confirm if this Margaret Toeben-Otten is related to the St. Libory, Illinois Otten's. I jhought interesting that Margaret Toeben-Otten's daughter is Anna Winkler.
