Ortssippenbuch Neukloster/Bliedersdorf von Gerhard, Burfeind 1983

Hi Barbara,

Yes, thanks, I am familiar with that secondary source. I have MANY
ancestors and relatives from that part of Niedersachsen and am hoping to
get a copy of the primary source document. A kind fellow (and probable
cousin) recently sent me the bulk of the Ortssippenbuch but it is
missing the pages 851-985 from the chapter on Hedendorf. Roger Engelken
has converted some of the missing portions into his database but it is
not complete.

Actually, I have more ancestors from Apensen and adjacent areas West,
South and East but I know of no Ortssippenbücher for that district so I
have been piecing together families by brute force from the Kirchenbuch
Apensen available on microfilm. That ends in 1852, unfortunately. Heino
Buckstöver's web site gives a bit more recent information but just for
marriages. Gerhard Burfeind's Ortssippenbuch gives information to the
extent that persons from Apensen church moved into or married into the
Bliedersdorf/Neukloster district.

I am interested to correspond with anyone who shares interest or
relation in this area. (anyone researching Halvesbostel, Sauensiek,
Hollenstadt, Wiegersen, Ruschwedel?)

Brad
