Hallo Bernd,

nachdem ich jetzt einige Ortvorschläge von anderen Mitforschern erhalten
habe, glaube ich, dass es sich um Szaiben (Mitzkaweitschen) im Kirchspiel
Pillupönen handelt. Es sieht im Eintrag die Schreibweise nicht wie ein "d"
aus. Daher glaube ich nicht, dass der Ort im Kreis Oletzko in Frage kommt.
Aber ich werde ihn mir mal für alle Fälle notieren.

I notice that one of the families you are following is Loebel, my Grandmother
was a Loebel who came from Neuendorf East Prussia the problem I have is I do
not which Neuendorf. Which Neuendorf is the Loebel you are researching from and
what is the history.

Hello Daniel,

we had already contact together and we have spoken about the family LOEBEL. There are different places with the name Neuendorf in East Prussia. My lineage is in the area Stallupönen. But my latest ancestry Friedrich LOEBEL married with Barbara CLINGLERIN (she is from a lineage Salzburg or Salisbourg). Friedrich LOEBEL was born about 1728 but I don't know where he came from. A brother of Barbara Clinglerin was a soldier and Friedrich LOEBEL too. Because of this, I think he get in contact with Barbara and married her. But Friedrich can be of another place of East Prussia. I have to look into the military churchbook. Maybe I will find a clue of him. Until now my Loebel-Lineage are from the places Fuchsberg, Jägersthal, Germingkehmen and later Mehlkehmen all places in Stallupönen.

When there will be a connection between our families, can be Neuendorf / department Insterburg. That is not far away from the place I look for my lineage.

But when your grandma was a born LOEBEL you must have documents, like a birth certificate from the government. Here it is, when there are more than one town's with the name, there will be a clue of the department where the place lay in. Do you have this document of your grandma?
