I'm writing to inquire if anybody has had any success with the Opole diocese in Poland. I had written an e-mail in English to them inquiring about what church records on the Heidau, Neisse area would be available but I haven't received a response. Has anybody written a letter in German to them and received a response from them? Does anybody know what records the Opole diocese may have and what time periods may be covered? Does anybody know how much they charge for lookups and copies? Is there another archive that may contain these records? Answers to my questions in either English or German would be appreciated.
