I am the grand-daughter of August Ollech and Wilhelmina Krzossa.
Both August and Wilhelmina were born on or about 1900 in the Ortelsburg,
East Prussia area. My mother, Emma, was born in or around Ortelsburg in
1922.
My grandmother, Wilhelmina Krzossa, was previously married and had one son
named Paul. Paul was adopted by August prior to their immigration to Canada.
Wilhelmine had one brother that I am aware of and his name was (possibly)
also, Adolph. Wilhelmine's married name, and any information on her previous
marriage has disappeared. The only information I can find is: Father's name:
Gottleib Krzossa and Marie Joswig. There is a small reference (on
immigration papers) to a "sister" of Wilhelmine with the name of: Szoga -
but the writing is unclear. I am not certain whether this name has any
relevance to Wilhelmine's previous married name.
August was the son of *Adolph *Ollech. Adolph was married twice. In his
first marriage, to Wilhelmine (family name unknown), he had the following
children:
RUDOLF born 08.04.1901 in Grammen/Ortelsburg) – married with EMILIE (born
15.12.1901)
AUGUST (my grandfather) born approximately 1900 - married with WILHELMINE
(Minna) (born aprox 1897)
ADOLF
FRITZ
ROBERT
KARL
In the second marriage, Adolph Ollech, married Luise (family name unknown)
and had the following children:
OTTO
CHARLIE (KARL)
KURT
FRIEDA
BERTA
ERICH (missing in WW II)
REINHOLD (drowned in a sea in East Prussia at young age)
All children of Adolph were born in Grammen (Ortelsburg)
I am interseted in seeking further information on both of these families.
