Just curious, did that name change to Hemm? There are quite a
few in the Miami county area. Seems like the names change so quickly.
Just wondering. No family connection with me though. Just friends with
some.

Hi Lorrie,
Though some families may have changed the name to von der hemm, mine did
not. We actually changed our name to VanderHamm around 1857-58.
