I assume most of you are familiar with the German town finder (geo@genealogy.net). I am curious to know if a similar tool exists for German occupations, surnames, or given names?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Don't quite know what you mean when you include names in your wishlist. Are you
speaking of surname lists such as exist on rootsweb and other places?
Occupations are best resolbed by asking on the lists where these occur
