My name is mary Moriarty. My grandmother was born in 1878, her name was Laura louisa Oldenburg Dickinson. Dickinson being her maiden name. Her fathers mother was louisa oldenburg. My Mother's family is a very wealthy family from Philidephia. Laura louisa's only living child(my mother's brother who is 91 now) was told that their mother was cousin to Sophia Oldenburg who married the kaisers second son. I have a cousin now in Oldenburg try to find some info. Would you know of any Oldenburgs in the country ?
