today, in the Oldenburg State Archive, I saw an emigration request for Carl
August Rudolf Sieling. The request was dated Sep. 4, 1893 and it was issued
by the Oldenburg town hall.
But no other information about Carl August Rudolf, no birthdate, no
birthplace, no parents. He obviously was an orphan. His guardian was Carl
Wenzel.
Could he be the brother of your great grandmother Emilie Magdalena ?
