Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if a town called Drehle still exists. It was near the
Neuenkirchen/Damme area.
My name is Vondrell; I believe originally it was von Drehle. If anyone has
any information on this family I would appreciate hearing from you. I have
seen records from the St.Boniface church in Neuenkirchen that I believe
includes this family.

Gro� Drehle and Klein Drehle are part of the district (Landkreis) of
Bersenbrueck. They are situated near Neuenkirchen (on the Osnabrueckian side
of the border between Oldenburg and the province of Hanover). Klein Drehle
belonged to the parish of Neuenkirchen till 1814, but didn't become a part
of the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg, when the parish was incorporated into
Oldenburg..
