Thanks so much, Werner, for the lookup in Vechtaer-Familien. That confirms,
well at least supports, my theory about his origins although the death date
isn't quite right. I have from LDS film 909902, vol 9 (Deaths 1810-52), p 120,
"Nro. 4 1829 September 19. 22. Franz Pundsack, Heuermann aufm Hagen, geboren
in Oythe, gestorben an Auszerung. Verwittwete. Alter 52." So his death had to
be after May of 1829 if Kokenge was his wife.
I don't have, thus have not checked, the earliest LDS film of Lohne records.
However I have those records on CD and her birth and parents are not given,
just her death and marriage (with the wrong Franz). There are so many M.
Elisabeths that one could easily pick the wrong one.
The rest of the information that you sent about the children will come in
very handy too. Thanks for including that.
