other town of interest to you:

This might be "Vardel" near Vechta
or Varrel near Sulingen (mostly protestant area)
or Varrelbusch near Garrel
or Varrelgraben near Delmenhorst (mostly protestant area)

Name: Henry William Krogmann
Born: February 19, 1847
In: Eude, Oldenburg

This might be Endel near Vechta, in Lower Saxony

Please keep in mind that the above are just guesses and only make
sense if your ancestors were catholic. (It would fit to Langf�rden
village that was mentioned by Werner Honkomp.

Hello,

there was a catholic parish in the mostly lutheran town of Varel since 1851.

"Eude" may be Oythen (nowadays part of Vechta) or Hude between Oldenburg and
Delmenhorst. In Hude there wasn't a catholic parish, till 1879 the few Hude
catholics belonged to Wildeshausen, after 1879 to Delmenhorst.
