Jever / Oldenburg / Bremen and so forth? In the US we have
Bing Karten - Wegbeschreibungen, Reiseplanung, Verkehrskameras und mehr and the government furnishes

Hello Bob,

please use following:

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/

choose Germany, then Oldenburg, Zip 26125. You can then zoom in or out. Bremen, Zip 28199 and other.

Hi Bob,
If you are looking for a modern map, you were almost there.
Bing Karten - Wegbeschreibungen, Reiseplanung, Verkehrskameras und mehr or Bing Karten - Wegbeschreibungen, Reiseplanung, Verkehrskameras und mehr
Select Germany as the country (the second box under the "Map" tab).
Click on "Create Map."
In the box titled "City, State, or Zip Code", type in Oldenburg, Jever, or
Bremen.
Then click on "Create Map."

Sometimes as in the case of Oldenburg, you get choices. Select the one you want.
Once you have the map you can zoom in or out, or print, or save it.

Thankyou Marilyn and Fritz. Is there a German equivalent of US Census
Bureau (Tiger Maps + population statistics. And, as Marilyn points out,
what about historic maps?
