I know there was a person searching that family name, but I think he's off
the list now. I think his family was from Langforden or Damme. If you can
wait a couple of weeks (until I see him or his brother at the library), I may
be able to contact him and put you in touch. He's in Cincinnati (which is
where his Menke's went), where did your Menkes emigrate to?
