I am looking for any informaion on the STARKER / STAERKER family from Oldenburg. I have information that my ggggg Grandfather, Henry Starker came over from Oldenburg in 1856. But I can find nothing more. Not one thing. ANY help on eother the name, or any other resources I can check, is greatly and deeply appreciated.

Yes I have a death date for him. Below is the information I have:
Henry Starker
born: 7 Aug 1838; Died: 25 Dec 1922
Left Oldenburg 1 May 1856
Landed: USA 8 July 1856
The Info about him coming to the united States is pretty much hearsay, although written on a paper found in his daughter in laws Possesion, the info cannot be found, as of yet.
