The history book "Bauernhöfe im Amte Vechta" listed only a Vogelpohl in Telbrake, a part of the town Vechta. Former was Telbrake a part of Oythe, today also a part Vechta.
- Halberbe Vogelpohl, jetzt(1908) Westerkamp, 19 ha, Brinksitzer (a small farm), called 1669 Vogelpoel.
at the year 1674; 3 horses, 6 cattles, 2 cows, 5 pigs
Lüsche is not far from Telbrake, there lives some Vagelpohl and one Kleyer families.

I believe there was a Vogelpohl Flur (one of the original land
holding descriptions) in the Cappeln area too. Such lands
either gave a name to people or people gave the name to the
land. It means that some Vogelpohl people may have lived in
the Cappeln Kirchspiel. I don't have any of my records on this
on me.
