I am Bastiaan Hulshoff. I am, like most of you, researching my family name Hulshoff. Let me begin my introducing myself.
My great grandfather (1862-1949) came from Cloppenburg. In his teen he immigrated to the Netherlands, Den Haag; I am the third generation and from Den Haag. Last week I traveled to Vechta where the church records prevailed much about my family history.
I am hoping that some of you may share some information with me.
My family has been aware that some of our German ancestors have immigrated to the United States and elsewhere. I am attempting to trace these. I would greatly appreciate it if some of you could guide me to source of such information. For those German subscribed, you must be well aware of famed Annette von Droste zu Hulshoff. Do you know of what means to validate how my line Hulshoff is related to Droste zu Hulshoff or if there is any such relationship at all.
