Is there an emigrants' list of people who left Oldenburg in 1866? My G
Grandparents Francis Albert & Hannah (nee Hillers) Fritsch came to New York
City, then to Minnesota, U. S., in 1866, from Oldenburg, by way of Bremen.
Would they have had to get a permit to leave Oldenburg? I guess that they
married in 1864/5 and on arriving in New York, had with them one six months
old child. Would someone comment on these facts?
