It looks like your Bernd Henrich was baptized December 19, 1828, as the son
of Franz Meyer gt. Diekmann and Engel Diekmann. It probably means that Bernd
Henrich's parents inherited the mother's family's farm. The husband would have
to change his name (here, from Meyer to Diekmann) in order to inherit the
farm.

Maria Theresa bapt. June 1, 1824
Franz Henrich bapt. December 25, 1825
Johann Henrich bapt. May 24, 1827
Maria Agnes bapt. June 27, 1831
The parents were married May 1, 1822, and she was listed as the widow of
Johann Henrich Meyer gt. Diekmann (maybe a brother to Franz). Franz died on June
16, 1860 at the age of 63 y., 1 m., 22d. Maria Engel died on August 7, 1849
at the age of 58 y., 8 m., 18d.
She married Johann Henrich on November 25, 1818. He died on March 31, 1820
at the age of 27 and was listed as from Damme.
Maria Engel was baptized on November 25, 1790, the daughter of Christopher
Diekmann and Elisabeth Nordhues.
