Hello everyone.
I have been using LDS microfilms of St Catharines in Dinklage to confirm
family records that I have and to fill in those I don't. I have found a
marriage record in the early 1700's. Information from another family
researcher states that the man was Lutheran. There is nothing in the record
that I read that agrees with that. I have noticed in reading the records
that when a dispensation is granted because of a close family relationship it
is noted with the marriage record. Is the promise by a Lutheran to raise the
children as Catholic handled in a different manner? Again, thanks for your
help.
