[OL]Census 1900 Ohio

Dear Maud Ann and Marilyn,

thank you so much for the Census 1910 and 1920.

I think it could be the Robke family I search, but some aging details aren't correct (is this normal?)
- They married once for 44 years in Germany is correct, also the number of 8 children. (this is was they exact know)
- They immigrated 1893, rigth year is 1892. (ok)

It could be, that the Census 1900 is even more exact.

More information could be helpful.

Thank you again,
Werner

The census takers would write down whatever they were told. Sometimes
a family member would not be present and others filled in the details
- often in error.

Whatever we find in the census is subject to error from various
sources: mistakes by the information provider or spelling and writing
mistakes by the census taker.

The best defense is a series of census reports.
