This isn’t Oldenburg but it might be related. I don’t know how far reaching
the Bruns name is. On the other hand it could be Oldenburg because those who
wrote the records in Minnesota were sometimes very inaccurate about where
things were in German lands. Hanover might be used for the fatherland of
anyone who spoke German.
