Hello,
there are still 'Brader' - people living in Zwischenahn today. Your ancestors
probably came from Aschhausen. There were also Oeltjenbruns people from
Aschhausen emigrating at the same time to Missouri (Dittmer county etc.)
They have changed their name from Oeltjenbruns to simply Bruns.
Do you want to find out more about your ancestors ? Church records in
Zwischenahn go back as far as the year 1606 !
