Hello Mr. Wahmhoff,
I am looking for information on my great-great-grandfather. He was born about 1813 in Prussia. Name we have is Heinrich Francis (could be Franz) Wahmhoff. He was married to Margaretha Speilman (no date) and later to Catharine Snyder on September 8, 1861 in Miami County, Ohio. He died in 1888 in Fletcher, Miami Co., Ohio.
A possiblility he was born in place called "Rulle" but not sure. I have been trying to find him in records there in Germany and who his parents and siblings are for several years and have found nothing.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Hopefully you can understand English and send same. I can not understand German although I am basically of German descent.
