Beim Sterbeeintrag von Johann Bernd Ortmann und einem seiner Kinder steht:
in Leibzucht bei gr. Kamphake/Holdorf.
Ich weiß zwar nicht um den genauen Unterschied zwischen gr. Kamphake und
Kamphake, aber es könnte sein, dass es dort wohl eine Verbindung gibt.
Hoffentlich kann ich dazu noch etwas mehr herausfinden.

I'm sorry I do not read German well -- I just noticed the Kamphake surname. My gg-grandmother was Catherine Elizabeth kl. Kamphake of Holdorf.

Hallo Kathy und Frau Reinhold,
there were two Kamphake farms in Holdorf close together.
The history book listed 1789 Berend Kamphake and Gerd Kamphake. This names are changed by "Pagensteert" about 1900 to gr. Kamphake (14 hectare) and kl. Kamphake (10 hectare).
Johann Bernd Ortmann was Heuermann (tenant farmer) by gr. Kamphake and Catherine Elizabeth is born as kl. Kamphake.
Ohnewehr was a farm in Neuenkirchen-Bieste, 1680 was a Kamphake owner and 1777 Schwietering, later the farm has been divided. Perhaps the teacher Kamphake has bought a piece of this.
