Oellerich

Okay, I finally had a chance to dig out my Oelrich information.

Elisabeth Oelrich Auf Der Heyde (also simply Oelrich and Oelker) born date
unknown in Wiedenbruck (Westfalia) married Conrad (Otto) Weidenlubbert gt.
(Klei)baumhueter in Wiedenbruck 1787. They had several children if you are
interested in that information.

A post on the doorway of the (Klei)baumhueter farm (still extant) was taken
from an old wardrobe and reads:

An der Gadrobe, die aus einem Bettgestell efertigt wurde: Anna Christina
Oelcker Anno 1782.

I doubt if this helps at all, but perhaps ... ya never know!

Laura

Hi, Laura,
Sorry, I don't think that helps me--but thank you for providing that information! Aren't those surnames in Westfalia fun! I have worked with those before, where sometimes the husband took the wife's name, or the name of the farm he was living on . . . One of the many challenges of genealogical research!

Good luck with the search,

--Gary
