When looking on the map, I find N�rten-Hardenberg, just southwest of
Northeim in what I believe to be Bayern.
The LDS/Mormons/Family History Center has the following for
Hardenberg. The dates I found are earlier than what you mentioned.
It appears that both Katholische and Evangelische churches were in the
town. This URL may give you some ideas.

I found the following for N�rten, but it is in Hanover. Hold it! The
LDS information shows N�rten to be in Hanover. however,I notice that
it is listed as being in Kreis Northeim, which is close to
N�rten-Hardenberg listed above. I think that they are one and the
same, with either an error or maybe a border change between the times
the LDS transcribed the records.
