Norten-Hardenberg

Hi Kevin:
When looking on the map, I find Nrten-Hardenberg, just southwest of
Northeim in what I believe to be Bayern.

The LDS/Mormons/Family History Center has the following for
Hardenberg. The dates I found are earlier than what you mentioned.
It appears that both Katholische and Evangelische churches were in the
town. This URL may give you some ideas.
   [1]http://www.noerten-hardenberg.de/ Click on Kirchengemeinden. The
churches, officials and addresses are listed. That info may be
   helpful.

[3]Kirchenbuch, 1701-1950 Katholische Kirche Bad Drkheim

   Bad Drkheim)

I found the following for Nrten, but it is in Hanover. Hold it! The
LDS information shows Nrten to be in Hanover. however,I notice that
it is listed as being in Kreis Northeim, which is close to
Nrten-Hardenberg listed above. I think that they are one and the
same, with either an error or maybe a border change between the times
   the LDS transcribed the records.

Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) and w3as at further times in the Kingdom of
Hannover.
