Norten-Hardenberg

Has anyone done any research for this location. I have seen on the family search site that Catholic records are available from here and also evangelical records from the middle 1800's as well. Does anyone know when the evangelical records should cover? The family search only has a church duplicate from about 1850 to 1870's.

I am looking for a family from Angerstein with the names Fingerhuth and Rohvig. I am wondering if they would have attended the Catholic church or if the town had both churches around 1800.

Thank You

Hello Kevin,
I think I have just deleted my note to you - so I'll send it again.
There is indeed a church in Angerstein. Do a google search for "Kirche
Angerstein" - then choose the "translation" and you will get a page about
the church in that little town. I'd give you the English website page, but
it is so long, it's easier to do as I did above. Or--maybe you can read
German better than I can. There is a email address there as you'll see.
Good luck,
Barbara

Hello Keven,

but there is also a Northen Harenberg in the south of Hannover. Near Seelze.

Hi Kevin,
unfortunately there is a searcher in Nörten-Hardenberg who hates to give names and dates of this place - but he has already all of it... He should be sent to heaven... as I also am looking for names with old dates of this place... and arround of it.
The evangelical churchbooks (fiches) you will find in Hildesheiner Str. 38 at the Archiv of the Ev. Kirchbucharchiv.
Surely it would be worth to come to Hannover soon...
Greetings,
Rudolf, Hannover
