Hi Robert,

Thanks for responding. I tried unsuccessfully to obtain records from the
first church he attended but, nothing could be found. You wouldn't believe
how elusive this is, e.g., no death records, no naturalization records,
funeral home records destroyed, etc.
If anything else occurs to you, please let me know.

I guess with your situation, the smallest thread is going to grow into
a link.........sometime!

I had such a similar circumstance with my Hamann line. It took almost
six years before the window opened.........and now, I can't close the
window to slow down the information>
