I am searching for info on my great great grandparents.
Gerhardt and Gertruda Niemeyer.
Gerhardt was born about 1801 in Oldenburg Oldenburg according to one census..
They were Catholic and came to Cincinnati, Ohio about 1852/3.
Their children were.. Elisabeth, Heinrich, Anton (my great grandfather) and Caroline.
I would like to find out where in Oldenburg (parish?) they lived and
what church or government agency to write to for their info.
