What about giving him some time, words of
encouragement, love and understanding, and
disregarding his "empty" mails

I appreciate the love part. 
I've had several phone calls with him. He seems to have finally gotten the
message that questions need to be asked in a certain way in order to expect
meaningful responses. He's in training so to speak. I'm sure you will see a
number of specific questions from him that can be responded to from now on.
I'm sure yuou agree that looking for Kr�ger anywhere in either of our
provinces won't get him very far with his own genealogy. He's really trying
to find relations in current Germany that he knows exist but can't find a
link to.
