I will be visiting Hamburg and the area around Roegnitz, Bentin, Doebbersen, &
Gustaevel in Sept. of this year. Although I am somewhat familiar with Baden &
Bavaria, I have never been to northern Germany and would welcome suggestions
about places to visit- good hotels, etc. I am very much looking forward to
visiting the places where my ancestors lived.
I am researching the following surnames: Gustaevel, Wulf, Schroeder, Wilke,
Voss, Niemann, Kind, Meier. The Gustaevel & Schroeder families came to
America in 1870, and settled in NY State.

Do you have any Krull/Crull/Kroll or Shipman in your dates ?
My GGfather came from that area you intend to travel. I have Wulff, Schr�der,
Wilcke, Voss, Niemann, Kindt,Meier, Meyer married with Krulls and Schippmanns in
my dates from Mecklenburg.
