Ich heisse Gerd RACHUT und wohne jetzt in El Sobrante in Nord-Kalifornien
etwa 30 km von San Franzisko entfernt (PLZ 94803). Ich bin in Hamburg geboren
und 1963 in die USA ausgewandert. Ich bin jetzt 71 Jahre alt und betreibe
Ahnenforschung seit etwa 5 Jahren, bin also gerade aus dem Neulingsalter
heraus.
Ich sammle alle die RACHUT oder RACHUTH heissen oder mit denen
assoziiert sind.
Einige Rachut haben Spuren in Magdeburg, Quedlinburg und Genthin
hinterlassen. Vorfahren meiner Mutter stammen teilweise aus dem Kreis
Merseburg. Ich werde deshalb in Zukunft bestimmt einige Fragen stellen.

in Northern California about 20 miles away from San Francisco. I was
born in Hamburg, Germany and emigrated to the U.S. in 1963. I am
now 71 years old and have been into family research for over 5 years.
I guess I cannot be considered a rookie any more.
I collect information on everyone by the name of Rachut or Rachuth and
all associated with them.
Some of the Rachut family left traces around Magdeburg, Quedlinburg,
and Genthin, and on my mother's side ancestors came from the county
of Merseburg.
