Hi Donna,

I find two villages with the name Neubauhof. Both are located in
Mecklenburg Schwerin. One belongs to the church in Stavenhagen, about 8 km East of
Malchin. The other belongs to the church in Levin, about 20 km Northeast of
Malchin.

church record in Wisconsin says that he came from Neubauhof in Mecklenburg. He
was born Christian Martin Ludwig KOEPPEN on August 24, 1839. It may or may

Thank you, Boy did this help! Along with information from cousins in Wisconsin, I got the LDS tape for Levin, I found my great grandmother's birth and confirmation records, plus probably a number of siblings. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Since the reels go back to the 1700's, I can probably go back at least one more generation. I only had to look through two Mecklenburg reels to find what I wanted, that was amazing, I have been looking for years.
