Hello to all;
I would appreciate very much if someone would take the time to look at the
following site and see if they recognize the uniforms from the early 1900's.
I believe Polish or Russian. Below the photo isthe back of it with writing
on it. I think it may be Russian. Can someone help in translating this? It
would really be a big help !! Thanks so much...

Dear Dolly,
Those are clearly Russian uniforms, as e.g. the cockades show. However, I am
not all that sure that the uniforms worn by those three men are army
uniforms, they may belong to members of a fire brigade. The writing below
the picture (to be transcribed as " I. Molyanov' ") is the photographer's
name.
Hope this is of help to you.
Regards,
Rolf-Peter
Sorry, Dolly,
I just happen to see that there is more on the reverse.
The photographer's name appears again; this time there is also the
abbreviation of his so-called father's name-- A.
(you would rather call it a middle initial). Above the medals it says that
he prepares enlargements and portraits, sizes according to wishes.

Perry;
Thanks so much for the answer. Now I will have to find out if they are army or fire brigade uniforms.
So now I know it is like an advertisement on the back, about enlargements, etc. that is a big help, and the photographer has his name on it. I had no idea what any of it said. Thanks so much !!
Dolly
