MESSAGE: I am trying to get information about my great great grandmother,
Alwine Mathilde Wilhelmine Maffry. She was born in Bielefeld on June 6, 1825.
She married Micheal Strauff of Cologne, on Jan 19, 1848 in Bielefeld. Her
father was Johann Heinrich Maffry who was born in Leubbecke in 1791. He died in
Bielefeld Jan 13, 1840. Johann Heinrich Maffry's father was Franz Ludwig Maffry.
He was born Jan 28, 1771. He died in Leubecke in 1815. His birth place is not
known.
I am interested in learning about his parents and grandparents prior to his
time. He might have been born in Kalbe. I am not certain about this.
