Neddermeyer and Heise of Koenigslutter, Braunschweig

Hallo List,

I am searching for information about my ancestors and I believe they were
from Koenigslutter in the late 1700s. The information I have is as follows:

NEDDERMEYER Joannes Henricus Carolus, Lutheran. In 1796 he married Anna
Catharina Lienesch, Catholic, in St. Bonifatius, Neuenkichen. On the marriage
record it states he was from Koenigslutter, Braunschweig territory and was a
former soldier. In 1814 he was widowed and married a second time to the widow
Catharina Maria Rolmann, born Henkenberend in St. Bonifatius, Neuenkirchen.

HEISE/HEESE (de Heise) Albertus Wilhemus Ludovicus, Catholic, witnessed a
marriage in Neuenkirchen in 1814 and was listed as a Wachtmeister in the
Husarenregiment of Cumberland. Possibly in 1815 he was wounded at Quatre Bas or
Waterloo. Ludwig married Maria Christina Rolmann of Rolfs bey der Hake,
Oldenburg in 1818 in St. Bonifatius, Neuenkirchen.

HEISE/HEESE Wilhelmus, Catholic, occupation roofer from Koenigslutter had a
child with Maria Elisabetha Dreyer in 1823. The child was baptized in St.
Bonifatius, Neuenkirchen.

Carl Neddermeyer, by this time widowed again and the step-father in law of
Ludwig, and Ludwig Heese, his wife and children emigrated from Neuenkirchen in
1834 and arrived in Baltimore, MD in November 1834.

Any information regarding these families would be most appreciated.

Kind regards,
Courtenay

Hi Courtenay:

I am responding with reference to the name Neddermyer.
My GGM was a Neddermyer, but her family was from Anderten
Amt. Hoya in the KOH.

I do not see the name often, so I responded even though
your ancestors were from Braunschweig.
