I am researching the Nawrot family from Gross Laszewo or Grazawy parish
According to my research my grandfather was Jozef Nawrot (b March 1851 +/- 5 years) and his wife was Anna Leshweska who I believe were born in Gross Laszewo or possibly Swierczynki in the Grazawy Parish.
I assume they were married in Grazawy in the late 1870’s (1877 - 1878).
They had a daughter Annie (born January 1879 in Poland) and a son Joseph (born March 9, 1880 in Poland)
According to my research, it seems like Joseph had a brother Ludwig who was born in Brodnica on August 18, 1856.
They all immigrated to the United States in @1880 – 1882. Josef Nawrot settled in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania where I was born. His brother Ludwig Nawrot eventually settled in Scranton Pennsylvania.
My research on MyHeritage allowed me to connect with Krzysztof Nawrot. We are 3d to 5th Cousins.
He is a direct decendant of Adam Nawrot (Born December 16, 1848) in Swierczynki Brodnica parish Grazawy. Kujawsko-pomorskie. Adam married Cecylia Przetakowski (born December 25, 1858). Adam and Cecylia had several children Boleslaus Nawrot born Oct 28, 1888 in Gorzno, Strasburg, Westprussia; Anastasia Nawrot born September 7, 1889 in Gorzno, Strasburg, Westprussia
I searched GENEALODZY.PL and could not find any Nawrot. I searched FAMILYSEARCH.ORG and found „Adam Nawrot 1858 and his wife Cecylia Przetakowska“ with all of their children including Boleslaus and Anastasia Nawrot. They are listed under Germany, Prussia, West Prussia, Catholic and Lutheran Church Records, 1537-1981. However, I cannot find my grandfather Joseph Nawrot or my grandmother Anne Lashweska. Nor can I find Adam’s parents.or any brothers or sisters.
I would appreciate any information and/or records pertaining to the Nawrot Family from Grazawy, Laszewo or Swiercznki.
