Hallo Hans-Jürgen, in dem Familienortsbuch Memelland findet man den Namen Büttner. Auch wenn dort keine Elise auftaucht könnte, könnte dies vielleicht ein Hinweis sein, um in dem Raum zu suchen.

My husband's grandfather, Johann Albert Büttner was born in Zippnow, Deutsch Krone, West
Prussia 6 Oct 1863 to Wilhelm Büttner and his wife, Elizabeth Justina Puphal [she born
January 1826]. Wilhelm and Elizabeth were married 4 January 1844 in Zippnow. Their
children were:
Frederick J., 1855
Elizabeth, abt 1860
Wilhelm, abt 1861
August bef. 1862
Johann Albert, 6 October 1863 [husband's grandfather]
Martin Johann, 26 October 1869
At least 3 children came to USA, Johann Albert [May 1883-4]
Frederick J. [arrived December 1886 at Baltimore]
And possibly August.
Wilhelm [the elder] is said to be the son of David Büttner, probably born before 1796, place
not known. Besides Wilhelm, David also was the father of Justine Büttner, b. 23 Apr 1831
who married Christian Dickow 23 April 1851 in Zippnow.
David is said to be from some other place.
