Hello, Tanya
Windheim is small village near Minden. Maybe the your grandmother came
from Minden. There is also a small Village
called "Neesen" , maybe she lived in that place.

Actually the church is located in Windheim where the christening of Dietrich
son of Dietrich Nahrwold and Sophie Louise Meier is located.
I am not positive that the christening record is of my great grandfather,
Dietrich, however all things are lining up for it to be just that record.
Stars don't always align so well in genealogy like it is with this
christening record! The names of son and parents are correct, the dates of
other findings on same family, including Sophie Louise's christening record
date of her birth. They may have moved as well to Jossen later,.... and
lived near Windheim at one time.
More to research, .....
All is looking so good with this new found sharing that you all have so
generously sent to me!
Thanks beyond words is what is needed here!
Thanks all,
Sincerely,
Tanya Kolitsch-Whitaker
