Hi

  I am looking for a Gus Mussyal.He came from Malchow,Mecklenburg area.
   Is there a place I ccould write to like a church ev. or civil record
    place.I have been told there is still relatives living there.He left
   1885-1886 for Texas.

David,
Do you know how old he was when he came to Texas? There was a census in 1867
and it is available from the FHC. I think if the numbers are right (he is
over 18 or so) you can get a good start.
