MUNDERLOH, Catharine and Johann Friederich WENKE

Barbara,
We would love to see the information you have. There is a possibility it
is the same person. Every bit of information helps. Even if it is not a
match, at least it would be able to answer that question.
You can send it online or to me directly. I did send your letter to my
parents.
Thank you, very much!

"...thence to Peoria, Illinois, where a sister, Mrs. F. Wenke lived..."

In my database I have:
Catharina MUNDERLOH, b. 19 Dec 1814, Kotherende, Germany; m. 21 July 1851 in
Neuenhuntorf, Germany to Johann Friederich WENKE.
[source: Ancestor Charts - Ohio, p. 1074 "Wagoner Genealogy"; available at
the Family History Library, Salt Lake City]

In the 1860 U. S. Census Catharina WENKE, age 35, is living in Peoria,
Illinois with John F. WENKE age 51.

Am I right that "Mrs. F. Wenke" is this Catharina MUNDERLOH? I have a little
more information about this family if anyone is interested.

I discovered this information while researching WARDENBURG families living
in Neuenhuntorf, Baeke, and Tweelbaeke. Johann Friederich WENKE's sister,
Meta WENKE, married Carl Heinrich WICHMANN in Peoria, Illinois on 21 Sept
1880. Carl Heinrich was the grandson of Ahlke WARDENBURG (daughter of Harmen
WARDENBURG of Neuenhuntorf.)
