Hi There

My great grandfather John Muller was born circa 1837 in Kaiserslautern,
Pfalz (Palatine), Germany.

I am hoping someone may be able to help with locating his birth date and the
names of his parents or siblings.

John Muller emigrated in the 1850's to Marlborough, New Zealand where he
married and had a family. His occupation was Carpenter/Cabinetmaker.

Any help in locating information on his family in Germany would be really
appreciated.

it's a hard job you are asking for - like finding a John Smith in NYC.
Müller ist one of the most common Names in Germany.

Thanks for your email.....I had a feeling it was going to be difficult but thought maybe with his approximate year of birth and place birth it may make it easier. Any tips on where I go from here? Really appreciate any help you can give :slight_smile:
