Hello All,
we found an interesting document on the internet containing about 30,000 emigrants from mostly eastern European countries, like Austria, Bohemia, Czech Republic, etc. to the USA.
Betty Fritch did an amazing job in transcribing ( thanks a lot Betty !) and I am just wondering how many keyboards she has worn out..
The first voyages with the ship "Hermann" are done and placed into our database: http://www.germanyroots.com/ships/shiplist.php
and more are coming ASAP..
Please, keep in mind, they are not actual passenger lists, therefore the actual amount of passengers on each journey is unknown and our database is probably the ONLY website where those passengers can be found..
There might be still a few "glitches" and whenever you find any, please let me know..
Hopefully you will find one of your ancestors..
